The main chowk of five storied architecture in Jaisalmer Fort is what known as the Maharaja’s Palace. The architecture of this palace has carved stone balconies and window arches as some of the alluring features of it. Originally it was known as the “Jaisalmer Fort Palace Museum & Heritage center” but the local tour guides called it “the Palace”.
