The semi-arid land of the Thar Desert has Desert National Park which is comprised of exotic species of flora and fauna. The national park attracts the nature lovers and the botanists. The terrain is comprehensive with rock surfaces interspersed between the vegetation. Animals like a wolf, blackbuck, desert cat, and chinkara can be easily spotted here.

Desert National Park is a home of the Great India Bustard which is the state bird of Rajasthan. The wildlife reserve covers an area of approximately 3100 square kilometers and also houses the exotic bird species.
