Jaisalmer is known to be a desert city of Rajasthan, the rulers made their efforts to add greenery into its landscape. Bada Bagh is one such endeavor which was once the test of time and now it is a lavish green garden in the desert area. Home to the royal tombs and is among the popular places to visit in Jaisalmer.

Gadsisar Lake was the main source of water to this garden which was specially made by Maharawal Jaisal Singh.  A part of Bada Bagh contains cenotaphs or the tombstones of the royal families. These architectures were built in the ancient Hindu architecture style and are dedicated to each of the Bhatti rulers.
