The most beautiful lake is located at a distance of 7 kilometers to the west of Jaisalmer which lies adjacent to the Amar Sagar Palace. The palace was constructed by Maharawal Akhai Singh to commemorate the work of his ancestor Amar Singh. There are pavilions with stairs near the palace. The entire complex includes Amar Sagar Lake, Palace, ponds, and wells, along with an ancient Shiva Temple.
