The most loved place in Jaisalmer is Akal Wood Fossil Park where people of all age group love to visit and discover the prehistoric era. The area is covered with large fossilized tree trunks of different sizes and seashells. There are almost 25 numb trees out of which there are some oldest fossils which are dated back to 200 years old.
